RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule with 4 call shifts required per month (2 weeknight and 2 weekend rotations)
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history and physical with patient/family within appropriate timeframe
• Monitor diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data and patient needs
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document all nursing activities legibly and timely in accordance with policy
• Participate in education, orientation and mentoring of facility personnel when appropriate
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
