Job Details:

• PACU experience required
• 4 call shifts required per month (2 weeknight and 2 weekend shifts)
• Rotation signup schedule
• Varied work schedule
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as registered nurse in specialty area
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to patient needs
• Formulate and implement plans of care based on patient-specific needs
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Interact with physicians, patients, families and healthcare team members
• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching frequently
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
