PCU RN Job in Birmingham, AL

Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a night shift position working 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week.

Position Details:

• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Shift: 3x12 Nights (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 10, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,813.32

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• BLS certification (must be current at submission)
• ACLS certification (must be current at submission)
• Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility

All required certifications must be in hand at the time of application submission. Applications without current certifications will not be considered.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a progressive care setting while working the night shift. The PCU environment provides patients who are transitioning from intensive care to a lower level of acuity, offering a dynamic clinical experience.
