<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 4x10 hour shifts schedule<br>• Call as needed with rotating day off per week<br>• 13 or 26 week contract available<br>• Entry-level position with immediate to general supervision from mentor/preceptor<br>• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patients<br>• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders<br>• Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures<br>• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and documentation quality<br>• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical findings<br>• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment<br>• Must have completed Associate Degree or above in Radiologic Technology OR 2 year RCIS program<br>• BLS/ACLS certification required<br>• One of the following certifications required: ARDMS (RDCS/RVT), ARRT (Vascular/Cardiac Interventional Radiography), CCI (RCCS/RCS/RCIS/RVS)<br>• Manager will consider candidates with no travel and no trauma experience<br>• Must be able to work as part of a team, multi-task, and remain calm in stressful situations<br>• Ability to maintain accurate records and exercise sound judgment with confidential information</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This comprehensive medical center is a leading academic healthcare institution that provides specialized cardiovascular and radiologic technology services across multiple care settings.
