<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for 13 weeks<br>• Every other weekend requirement<br>• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed<br>• Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7<br>• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months<br>• 1 year of experience required<br>• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)<br>• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS<br>• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement<br>• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white<br>• Floating required within skillset<br>• Must perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response including dysrhythmia interpretation/management and Rapid Response/Code team activation<br>• IV therapy/phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management required<br>• Nasal cannula, oxygen administration/tanks, and non-invasive airway management<br>• Isolation precautions knowledge required<br>• Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted<br>• Client may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract period without incurring charges<br>• First-time travelers accepted</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility that is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The hospital is affiliated with major healthcare networks and offers specialized services through multiple institutes including heart, cancer, neuroscience, pediatric emergency, and birthing centers. The facility provides advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology services, maintaining high standards of patient care and medical education.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>Rochester, NY</p><p>Rochester offers a vibrant metropolitan area in western New York with rich cultural attractions, excellent dining, and numerous recreational opportunities.
