Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work variable schedule including 2x10hr shifts & 2x8hr shifts; sometimes 3x8s & 1x12hr shift
• Shift times: 0700-1530 & 0600-1630
• Schedules posted 17 days prior for 6 weeks at a time
• Weekend call requirements: every third weekend on call (Friday to Monday morning)
• Weeknight call requirements: 1-2 days per week
• Holiday call requirements: every other holiday
• Call response time: 20 minutes
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Radiation badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start
• 2 days of unit-specific orientation in the lab
• Work with 4-person teams: 2 RN, 1 Rad tech, and 1 RCIS or rad tech
• Perform moderate sedation (mix own medications), charting, and circulating
• Work in pre and post areas during longer shifts
• Handle emergent revascularization, LHC, RHC, ATK Peripheral Diagnostic/Interventional, Cardioversion, TEE, Devices, Pericardiocentesis, and Temporary Pacemaker cases
• Average 4 cases per day across 3 labs
• Must have experience mixing medications and comfort with moderate sedation
• Work with EPIC charting system and Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro equipment
• Floating requirements to Heart and Vascular Pre/Post areas
• Hospital provides scrubs and lead protection; bring own lock for locker and designated work shoes
• Strong teamwork and willingness to help required
