SLP Job in Mauston, WI

You will work as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Mile Bluff Medical Center, a healthcare facility serving the Mauston, Wisconsin community. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders to help individuals enhance their ability to communicate and swallow safely
• Perform direct patient care including comprehensive evaluations and treatment sessions
• Complete patient documentation including initial evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge reports
• Contact insurance companies regarding patient benefits and coverage
• Prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions with appropriate materials and protocols
• Provide education to multidisciplinary staff including nurses, physicians, dietitians, and food service workers
• Share evaluation results and recommendations based on current research and evidence-based practice
• Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for healthcare staff
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patient-centered treatment approaches
• Clean and maintain treatment rooms following patient sessions
• Provide reminder calls to patients for scheduled appointments
• Assist patients and families with hospital navigation and support services
• Perform additional duties as requested by management

Position details: This assignment runs for 91 days, beginning May 11, 2026. You will work five 8-hour shifts per week. Weekly pay is $2,423.60. A degree in Therapy is required for this role.
