Physical Therapist Job in Festus, MO

Join Mercy Hospital Jefferson as a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work 5×8 day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week in a multidisciplinary outpatient therapy department.

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care across orthopedics, orthopedic surgery, pain management, neurology, and sports medicine. Your responsibilities include conducting 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute treatment sessions, developing individualized Plans of Care based on physician orders, and delivering 1:1 therapy with no double booking or technician-supported treatments. You'll maintain an 80% patient care time productivity standard each shift and work primarily with adult patients.

Schedule & Requirements

• Days shift (5×8 hours, 36 hours guaranteed weekly)
• Weekend hours as needed per facility
• Float assignments as required
• Assignment length: 13 weeks, starting June 28, 2026

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in Missouri
• Minimum 1+ years of physical therapy experience
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
