Cytotechnologist Job in White Plains, NY

White Plains Hospital is seeking a Cytotechnologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 5x8 days and earn $2,628 weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Screen gynecological and non-gynecological specimens
• Perform fine needle aspiration (FNA) processing and immediate assessment for adequacy
• Handle cytology prep work for GYN and non-GYN specimens
• Document findings using the EPIC charting system in an acute care setting
• Apply the Bethesda system for cytology reporting in all assessments

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree
• ASCP Registry certification or Certified Cytology School Degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience screening gynecological and non-gynecological specimens and fine needle aspirations
• ThinPrep Certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• New York State license
• Familiarity with the Bethesda system for cytology reporting
