Registered Nurse - Infusion @ Sutter Health Coast Hospital

Opportunity:

RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Work day shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM start time with 5 eight-hour shifts per week
• Occasional weekends if agreed upon
• Provide outpatient infusion services including chemotherapy administration
• Maintain 3:1 patient ratio during day shifts
• Handle approximately 20 visits per day
• Care for adult patients only
• No floating or call requirements
• 32 hours of orientation required
• Must have 2 years of nursing experience
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS (AHA), ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card
• Must be chemo certified infusion RN
• Skills include accessing/managing ports, chemotherapy administration, central line care, infusion pump management, and managing side effects
• Perform intravesicular chemotherapy procedures
• Work with interdisciplinary support including pharmacy and unit secretary
• Complete modules during orientation through e-learning system
