AZ - Med/Surg Flexible Night Shift

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments<br>• Work independently in completing assignments following physician&#39;s orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies<br>• Provide nursing duties and support to individuals of all ages and their families<br>• Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility<br>• Valid, current, full and unrestricted nursing license to practice in any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory required<br>• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association<br>• Must obtain Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire<br>• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire<br>• Orientation provided every 2 weeks<br>• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date<br>• Limited housing options available: shared housing units at $600 per month based on availability with no family or pets allowed</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This JCAHO accredited health center provides comprehensive medical services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The 73-bed facility was constructed in 1975 and offers comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures.
