Polysomnographer Job in Albany, OR

Join Samaritan Albany General Hospital as a Polysomnographer on our Sleep Lab team. You'll work the night shift conducting comprehensive overnight sleep studies and providing essential diagnostic support to patients.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing
• Record polysomnographic (PSG) and video recordings of patient sleep activity for diagnostic evaluation
• Administer sleep medications per established policy
• Communicate and coordinate activities with Sleep Lab Section leader and supervisor
• Monitor patients throughout overnight shifts and ensure quality data collection

What you'll need:

• Degree or certification as an Allied Health Professional in polysomnography
• Current unencumbered Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) License
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification through the BRPT
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• Graduation from an AMA-approved college program or one year of experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics, or respiratory therapy

Assignment details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 12, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,338.92
