Special Procedures Technologist Job in Charleston, WV

CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV is seeking an Allied Health Professional Special Procedures Technologist for interventional radiology. This is a 91-day travel position beginning July 6, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Weekly pay: $3,456
• On-call rotation required weekdays and weekends, approximately 8 days per month including 1 weekend per month with 30-minute response time
• Every third weekend required (5–6 total weekends over contract duration)

Role & Responsibilities

You will work in an interventional vascular radiology suite performing peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention including acute stroke, and embolization. Average daily census is 7–10 patients.

Your procedural responsibilities include accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site preparation, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, scrub and sterile field maintenance, and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose). You will maintain equipment inventory and stock supplies while observing strict sterile technique for infection control.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• WV State License required; may submit with pending license but must be active prior to start
• ARRT (R), ARRT (VI), and BLS certification required
• Vascular Intervention Certification preferred
• Equipment experience: PACS, Fluoroscopy (Siemens and Ultrasound preferred)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

• Floating required to sister facility approximately 2 miles away for 1 week
