ED Registered Nurse Job in Columbia, SC

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Holiday coverage as needed with July 4th required
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required between units
• 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Epic experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Free parking provided
• 36 hours of orientation
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics
• Handle various emergency conditions including trauma, medical emergencies, and behavioral health situations
• Perform procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, and emergency interventions
• Work during hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams from June through November
