PCU Job in Shawnee Mission, Kansas

You'll work as an RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Stepdown at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, providing intermediate-level care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical floors. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning April 6, 2026.

Your Role

• Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs continuously using telemetry systems
• Manage patients with complex medical conditions requiring intermediate level of care
• Provide direct patient care during the transition from intensive to general medical settings
• Float to Medical Surgical (MS) and Stepdown units as operational needs arise

Requirements

• Current RN license
• National certification for non-licensed professionals may be required depending on facility protocols

Compensation

You'll earn $1,838.02 per week. The facility uses skills-based hiring, so your experience and capabilities will be evaluated to ensure the right fit for this patient population.
