RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Day shift position working either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Weekends required as needed
• Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for
• Call required with a 30-minute response time; placed on one of 6 call teams with no more than every 6th weekend on call
• Floating required as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Work within an Invasive Cardiology unit comprised of 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs, and 2 shared cath/EP labs with 33 prep/recovery bays
• Perform and assist with advanced cardiovascular procedures including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, structural heart procedures, TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant and explanation, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy
• Required skills include: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, blood product administration, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, circulating procedures, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), sheath removal and monitoring, and thrombolytics
