Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Myrtle Beach, SC

Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join its IR team on a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026.

Role Overview

You will support a full range of interventional radiology procedures in a dynamic clinical environment. Your responsibilities include positioning patients, managing equipment, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting physicians during complex vascular and non-vascular interventions. You will operate GE imaging systems (single and bi-plane configurations) and document all procedures using the Meditech system.

Procedures You Will Support

• EVAR (Endovascular Aortic Repair)
• Stroke interventions
• Aneurysm coiling
• IVC filters
• Arteriograms and AVF procedures
• G-tube and percutaneous gastrostomy placements
• Kyphoplasty (K-Plasty)
• Port placements
• Percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN) and tunneled catheters
• Double-J stent and percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC) procedures

Schedule and Compensation

Monday through Friday, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating weekend on-call availability (30-minute response time required). Weekly pay is $2,650.

Qualifications and Requirements

You must hold a current R.T.(R) certification from the ARRT, SCRQSA Registry credential, and BLS certification. A minimum of one year of interventional radiology or neuroradiology experience is strongly preferred. Charcoal grey scrubs are required dress code.
