ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, on a 3x12 schedule with 36 hours per week guaranteed.

In this role, you will provide nursing care to emergency department patients and manage inpatient hold assignments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care across the emergency department setting
• Manage patient care assignments with varying acuity levels and nurse-to-patient ratios
• Handle inpatient hold RN assignments
• Respond to emergency department patient needs and clinical demands
• Work collaboratively with the ED team to ensure continuity of care

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 10, 2026. You will earn $2,342.34 per week.

The ideal candidate is an RN with experience in emergency department settings and comfort managing variable patient acuity. While medical-surgical or telemetry background is valued, your ability to deliver emergency care in a dynamic environment is what matters most.
