ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work in a 39-bed Emergency Room unit
• Patient ratio of 4:1 with surge bed assigned to each section
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement
• Unit staffing includes free lead, unit clerk, sitters for behavioral health, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs
• Must have experience with critical care drips, sedation, ESI, and codes
• Advanced skills needed: experience with STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis; preferred experience with Trauma
• Procedures performed on unit include intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting
• Equipment used includes Rapid Infuser and Glidescope
• Documentation system: Meditech EDM
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI
• Required uniform: Charcoal grey scrubs
• Patient experience focus on teamwork and personalized patient care
