X-Ray Technician Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026. You will work 3x12 hour day shifts (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM) in the Radiology and Cardiology departments.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures including chest, abdomen, extremities, and spine imaging
• Operate C-arm and O-arm equipment
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Document procedures in the Epic charting system
• Float to other buildings on the same campus as needed

Requirements:

• Current ARRT and BLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in X-ray technology
• C-arm and O-arm experience required
• Epic system experience required
• Trauma experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Schedule & Expectations:

• Weekend schedule with holidays as needed
• Call rotation required 3–4 days per month
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Orientation will likely occur during the week in your first week
• All time off requests must be included at submission

Additional Details:

• Weekly pay: $1,814.40
• Scrub color: Teal top, black bottom
• You must provide your own radiation badge through the agency
