PACU RN Job in Tucson, Arizona

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for a 89-day travel assignment in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at BUMC Tucson. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week at $2,434 weekly, with flexibility in start times and a Monday–Friday schedule that may include rotating weekends. No call required.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-operative and post-operative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, with attention to discharge planning
• Review patient histories, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal findings to appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Delegate and supervise licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members as appropriate
• Maintain legible, timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Previous travel healthcare experience
• BLS certification
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
