<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Tele Neuro</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• 36 or 48 weekly guaranteed hours (must be specified on submission)<br>• 13-week assignment length<br>• Weekend hours required as needed by facility<br>• No call requirements<br>• Float on rotational basis<br>• Patient ratios vary: Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7 (not guaranteed)<br>• Work on 32-bed neurology unit with tele, med, and med-tele patients<br>• Equipment includes telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps<br>• Use EPIC electronic medical records system<br>• 1 year telemetry experience required (inpatient only)<br>• Experience and competence in drug titration required<br>• 1 year neuro experience preferred (inpatient only)<br>• Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure<br>• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (can obtain prior to start)<br>• Dress code: Black scrubs only<br>• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift with full week availability required<br>• Provide direct patient care using nursing process for all age groups<br>• Care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities<br>• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments<br>• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility earned an A grade in The Leapfrog Fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grade and is recognized for its unique combination of leading-edge healthcare and compassionate caregiving team.
