Cath Lab Technologist Job in Charlotte, NC

Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract. You will work a 40-hour week with 4 x 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Role Details

• Target ratio of 3 rooms
• Call requirement with callback and weekend call; expect 9–11 days in a 6-week schedule with 1–2 weekends depending on rotation
• Floating may be required but would be rare; if needed, float would be to EP
• Assist in patient holding area inside the Cath Lab on occasion
• Scrubs provided

Required Experience & Credentials

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Structural Heart Scrub experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and at least one of RCIS or ARRT

Required Skills

• Scrub, Monitor, PA Lines and Telemetry
• Structural Heart and TAVR experience

Required Procedure Experience

• Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader

Preferred Skills

• Circulate, IV Start, Conscious Sedation, Rhythm Interpretation

Preferred Procedure Experience

• Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Ablations, Coil Embolization, Filter Placement
