Opportunity:

Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technologist

Job Details:

• Provide health care services and X-Ray imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment
• Perform radiographic exams as requested by all healthcare providers
• Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers
• Perform US guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis procedures
• Assist radiology nursing with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements
• Perform c-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR as requested by surgeons
• Complete documentation required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
• Work varied shifts as scheduled and may require extended hours beyond standard 40-hour workweek
• On-call availability required to respond to organizational and patient needs
• Must demonstrate competency in advanced imaging techniques including fluoroscopic/C-Arm in the OR, trauma and portable radiography within 6 months
• Required certifications: Montana Radiology Technologist License, ARRT (R) R.T.(R), American Heart Association BLS
• Minimum 1 year of previous radiology experience required, may include clinical internship experience
• Must be graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent
• Traveler must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
• Facility reserves the right to cancel three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
• Position involves potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases
