Cath Lab Technologist Job in Nashua, NH

St Joseph Hospital – Nashua is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work days in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Your Responsibilities:

• Scrub in and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and special procedures
• Pan heart catheters during active procedures to capture diagnostic images
• Evaluate radiographic images for proper density, contrast, detail, and anatomical structures to support physician diagnosis
• Position and prepare patients; set up and manage specialized equipment for all procedures
• Perform special procedures radiography using appropriate equipment per department protocols
• Maintain procedural areas in clean, orderly condition; clean and restock tables and equipment after each patient
• Review requisitions for pertinent clinical information and special requests
• Report unusual patient reactions or conditions to nursing staff
• Complete assigned examinations within prescribed timeframes
• Respond to call requirements as needed
• Report for duty on time, in scrubs and ready for patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Current NH ARRT license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Completion of a certificate or degree course in radiologic technology
• Demonstrated competency with Balloon Pump and Impella devices
• Willingness to rotate shifts or departments as needed
