CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Travel CT Scan Tech assignment with an immediate start date
• 13-week contract duration
• 3x12-hour night shifts, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call required
• No floating required
• 48-hour guarantees are not available
• Responsible for inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients within the CT Department (Radiology)
• Performs CT scans of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Performs basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision
• Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, and related quality control monitoring
• Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures and maintains high quality imaging
• Ensures availability and sterility of equipment and supplies
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required plus at least 1 previous travel assignment completed successfully
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• ARRT (CT) preferred but not required
• Cerner and/or Change Healthcare PACs experience preferred but not required
• EMR: Cerner
• Scrub color: Hunter Green
• One major and one minor holiday coverage may be required
