Job Details:

• Provide quality imaging of patients to aid in diagnosis and continuum of care
• Assist Radiologist with mammography exams
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using digital mammography equipment
• Conduct needle localizations and stereotactic biopsies
• Perform bone density scans and 3-D mammography
• Handle up to 40 patient visits per day in 2-room department
• Work with adult patient population primarily for screening exams and abnormal screenings
• Spend eight hours or more performing mammography exams in department or on Mobile Mammography Unit
• Teach breast self-exams (BSE) to patients
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and universal precautions
• Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Mammography Technologist required
• ARRT program graduate with State of Arkansas License required
• Current CPR certification required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds with proper body mechanics
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• 16 hours of orientation provided
