Pediatric RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN to join the Pediatric Infusion Center in Rochester, NY. This is a 117-day travel assignment running 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

Your Role

You will provide infusion and procedural care supporting pediatric specialty services. Your responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, blood products, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy. You will work with patients who require specialized vascular access devices and adapt to the changing clinical needs of the center.

Requirements

• Current NY RN License
• BLS, PEARS, and APHON certifications
• Minimum two years of pediatric nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Experience with IVADs and ports preferred
• Strong IV insertion skills and prioritization abilities
• Excellent communication and flexibility

Compensation and Assignment Details

This position offers $1,555 per week. You will work 8-hour shifts with a defined schedule and no on-call responsibilities. The assignment spans 117 days, beginning September 28, 2026.
