X-Ray Technician Job in Florence, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 90-day travel assignment in Florence, SC. You will work across two urgent care locations—Darlington Urgent Care and Florence Urgent Care—performing routine radiological procedures in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform X-Ray, DXA, fluoroscopy, OR, portable, and CT scan procedures according to established protocols
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and confirm correct procedure orders before imaging
• Select appropriate technical factors based on patient body habitus, pathology, and anatomical region
• Position patients correctly while maintaining attentiveness to equipment safety and patient comfort
• Ensure all images transfer successfully to PACS and meet quality standards before forwarding to radiologists
• Demonstrate proficiency with imaging equipment per the Competency Skills Checklist
• Work independently without assistance on all assigned radiological exams

Shift & Schedule:

• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, days
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• No on-call required

Assignment Details:

• Start date: July 12, 2026
• Duration: 90 days
• Weekly pay: $1,576.80
• Facility type: Urgent care (two outpatient locations)

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiology
• ARRT certification
• SCRQSA certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Allied Health Professional degree
