<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Circulator OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM<br>• Independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases<br>• Handle cardiac procedures including CABGs, TAVIs, and heart failure cases (VADs, ECMO, artificial heart, and heart transplants)<br>• Work with structural heart cases (Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (Impella)<br>• Care for patients of all ages using a multidisciplinary approach<br>• Two years of nursing experience required<br>• Operating room experience in level 1 trauma preferred<br>• Must be able to circulate and scrub independently<br>• Telemetry experience required<br>• Transplant and TAVI/TAVR experience preferred but not required<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association only)<br>• New York nursing license required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major academic medical center operates a sophisticated adult cardiac operating room that provides comprehensive cardiac surgical services.
