Mammography Technologist Job in Redwood City, CA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 21, 2026, with 4x10-hour day shifts in the radiology department.

Role Overview

You will perform mammography and tomography imaging for scheduled patients, maintaining a pace of approximately one patient per hour to accommodate inpatient and emergency requests. You'll use the Cerner EMR system for all charting and documentation. The hospital provides scrubs for your shifts.

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• ARRT (M) Mammography certification
• ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist certification
• State of California mammography certification
• Minimum 2 years of mammography and tomography experience
• COVID vaccination

Required Documentation

You must provide initial digital CE units, initial tomography CE units, and 2 years of continuing education documentation for both mammography and tomography. You will also need to supply prior mammography volume numbers for the last 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications

Tomography training and experience are highly preferred. Your orientation length will be customized based on your experience and tomography background.

Assignment Details

You will work 10-hour day shifts Monday through Thursday. Weekend requirements may apply depending on your experience and radiologist approval. The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment cycle.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $3,182.80.
