NICU RN Job in Reno, Nevada

Renown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly Pay: $2,365.20
• Location: Reno, Nevada

Requirements

• Current Nevada Registered Nurse license (must be obtained prior to hire)
• Minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in a level 3 NICU or higher
• Ventilator training required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• One additional shift pickup during schedule period

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing services to neonatal patients and families
• Apply the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Float to other areas when needed based on competency level

• Schedule may vary based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts
• Call requirements will be discussed during your interview
• Facility reserves the right to call off shifts with 48 hours notice due to low census
