ED Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at United Regional in Wichita Falls, Texas. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 13, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,099.52.

Schedule and Hours

• 3x12 night shifts
• 36/48 hour alternating block schedule
• 84 hours scheduled biweekly with 72-hour guarantee
• Weekend coverage required

Unit Overview

You will care for patients in a 62-room emergency department with a daily census of 190. You will manage patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Patient ratio is 4:1 across all shifts and weekends.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Arterial line management and blood product administration
• Care of ventilated patients and central line management
• Continuous IV sedation, paralytics, and IV vasopressors
• Dysrhythmia and ABG interpretation
• 12-lead EKG/ECG placement and interpretation
• Procedural sedation and triage
• Phlebotomy and multisystem organ dysfunction management
• Management of trauma, neurological events, psychiatric holds, respiratory emergencies, and orthopedic injuries

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience (3 years preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Experience in high-volume or trauma facility preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS

Support Services

You will work with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
