PCU RN Job in North Miami, FL

Jackson North Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 56-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, in a fast-paced intermediate care environment.

Compensation and Assignment Details

• Weekly pay: $2,359
• Start date: October 5, 2026
• Duration: 56 weeks
• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Travel position only — local candidates not accepted

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current Florida nursing license or active compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience in a large Level I trauma facility required
• Demonstrated experience with stroke care and tracheostomy management
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Role Expectations

• No float assignments — you will remain in the PCU
• Holiday scheduling based on unit needs; assignments will be fairly distributed
• Strong emphasis on patient experience and HCAHPS performance
• Excellent customer service skills required in a dynamic care setting
