RN Float Job in Douglasville, GA

Douglas Hospital is seeking an RN to join our inpatient team on the night shift. You'll work from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing direct patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to cultural diversity and population-specific needs
• Coordinate care delivery and maintain timely, accurate documentation
• Participate in bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds
• Practice using current clinical standards and evidence-based practice
• Complete initial and ongoing competency assessments and mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for other healthcare professionals and students
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance

Requirements:

• RN license (single state or compact)
• Current BLS certification
• NRP certification within 180 days of start
• Associate's degree in nursing or diploma in nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Less than 1 year experience required; direct patient care experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology for clinical care

This is a 91-day assignment beginning June 3, 2026. You'll earn $1,864.80 per week.
