Radiation Therapist Job in Petoskey, MI

McLaren Northern Michigan is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a temporary assignment. You will deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments in the oncology department, working days on a 5x8 schedule.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments
• Perform treatment simulations and fabricate necessary shielding blocks
• Maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments and perform quality control and assurance tests
• Ensure proper infection control techniques and adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices
• Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Shift: 5x8 Days (no on-call, no weekend requirements)
• Weekly pay: $2,908.80

Requirements:

• 2+ years of radiation therapist experience
• ARRT (T) certification required with documentation
• 1 year travel experience required OR work experience post-graduation with Varian and ARIA
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• TrueBeam, ARIA, Trilogy experience preferred

Attendance Policy: Adherence to strict 3 strike attendance policy applies. Three absences or being more than 20 minutes late will result in termination.
