Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina RRT license must be in hand at time of start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT
• Epic charting system experience required
• Radiation badge required - must be provided by agency
• May float between Downtown/Northeast/Fairfield/Kershaw campuses based on census and staffing needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Provide respiratory care including mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, bronchoscopy assistance, and arterial blood gas interpretation
• Wear Caribbean blue scrubs
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Must be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
