Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule options: 3x12 or 4x12 shifts per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• 2 years of experience required
• Must have Trauma Level 1 experience
• Active South Carolina RRT license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Must be proficient in adult critical care work settings
• Experience required with extubation, nasal and oral airway placements, suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care
• Must be experienced administering various respiratory medications including albuterol, Atrovent, combivent, and inhaled steroids
• Experience required with BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and mechanical ventilation weaning
• Must have experience with Servo U ventilator equipment
• Required to float to other units or campuses as needed based on qualifications
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
