Job Details:

• Work 5x8 shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call required: Monday 3:00 AM through the following Monday 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage tied to on-call requirements
• Set up and operate heart/lung machines that support organ function during cardiac surgery or other procedures where circulatory or respiratory function is disrupted
• Operate equipment to produce bypass, coronary perfusion, recirculation, or partial bypass, or to alter blood temperature, balance, or content
• Perform procedures including CABG, vascular, neuro, and any case with potential for major blood loss
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Education from an accredited cardiovascular perfusion program required
• Required certifications: ABCP Certification, ACLS, BLS
• Required equipment experience: Heart/lung machine, QUEST, autotransfusion, Cardiohelp, Impella, IABP, and other standard perfusion equipment
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Charting system: Epic
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
• Block schedule requests require manager approval based on unit needs
