Med Surg RN Job in Arcata, CA

You'll work as a registered nurse on the Med Surg unit at Mad River Community Hospital in Arcata, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of June 4, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• $85 per hour
• Weekly pay of $2,069

Requirements

• Active California nursing license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

About This Role

This is a Rapid Response Crisis position requiring prompt placement. You'll provide direct patient care, assessments, and nursing support to adults on the Med Surg unit. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, documenting care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
