Job Details:

• Work weekday schedule with Monday-Friday 5x8 shifts
• Rotating on-call responsibilities including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Average 7-9 days of call per month with 20-minute response time to hospital
• Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after operations and procedures
• Must be skilled in pre-op, PACU, and circulating for general, orthopedic, and obstetric cases including C-sections
• Available to assist with trauma cases in the emergency room
• Work independently as the only OR nurse during emergency call cases in the middle of the night
• Current unencumbered RN licensure in Utah or compact state required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire
• Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques required
• Blue scrubs preferred
• Level 4 Trauma designation
• Recognized holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• Work week defined as Sunday 12:01 AM through Saturday 11:59 PM
