OR RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for their Operating Room in Rochester, NY. This 89-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to work in a Level 1 trauma facility providing perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties.

Role Details

• Work 36 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday day shifts
• On-call responsibilities for evenings, nights, and weekends
• Function in both scrub and circulating roles in ophthalmology operating room
• Provide care for patients of all ages using multidisciplinary approach
• Handle cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatric procedures

Requirements

• Current New York state RN license (NY license only)
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Level 1 trauma hospital experience highly preferred
• Ability to scrub and circulate effectively
