Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology @ Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Crisis Response

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - IR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday<br>• Patient ratio of 1:3-4<br>• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required with IR experience required<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH<br>• Must have experience with scrubbing, circulating, telemetry, and STEMI call<br>• Preferred skills include IV start, triage, PA lines, and conscious sedation<br>• Call requirement: Every 3rd week Monday-Friday 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM, weekend call Friday 4:00 PM until Monday 7:30 AM<br>• Twice weekly for two weeks in the month, one call weekend per month and one week following call weekend with no call<br>• Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time varies by procedure type<br>• Work with specialized equipment including MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, Angio Jet, and various ablation systems<br>• Epic charting system experience required<br>• 16 hours of orientation provided<br>• Scrubs provided<br>• No floating requirements<br>• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays<br>• Candidate must enter lab within 48 hours after signing<br>• Handle 85% interventional radiology and 15% cardiology procedures<br>• Weekly rotation providing procedure coverage for all listed services</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility features a comprehensive interventional radiology and cardiology department that operates as a combination lab providing specialized procedural services.
