Telemetry RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a travel assignment with a 91-day duration, starting June 15, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 (occasionally 6:1)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float capability required when needed

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process
• Care for patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and medical-surgical overflow
• Manage cardiac drips (no nitrate administration)
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education

Requirements:

• RN License in Louisiana or compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
• Epic experience required
• One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Complete annual competency verification requirements

Compensation:

Weekly pay: $2,312.64

This assignment offers the possibility of conversion to permanent status. You will work with a supportive team in an established healthcare facility while gaining valuable experience in cardiac nursing.
