Radiation Therapist Job in Falls Church, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a travel position at INOVA CLINIC AND SCHAR CANCER in Falls Church, VA. This is a full-time role running 89 days, beginning June 15, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours total)
• Hours: 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with variable weekend requirements
• Weekend coverage: Rare, but may include Saturday treatment if the proton machine is down during the week; one weekend day required for PMI in August
• No floating or on-call expectations
• Patient ratio: 2 radiation therapists to 1 patient

Requirements

• Active Virginia state license at time of submission
• Minimum 2+ years experience with Varian treatment systems (Truebeam, Trilogy), IBA Proton, and Aria EMR
• Required certifications: RT(T), BLS (AHA certified), active VA State License
• Allied Health Professional credential

What to Expect

You will complete comprehensive orientation including Inova orientation, EPIC day training, and department-specific training with the chief or lead therapist. Gray scrubs are required. Holiday treatment schedules may apply during holiday weeks. No Epic access is needed for this position.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,663.04
