Mammography Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

Join CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus as a Mammography Technologist on a 26-week travel assignment. You'll work independently in a dedicated 3-unit mammography department, performing both screening and diagnostic mammography exams with no floating to other units required.

Schedule & Logistics

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (5x8 days per week)
• Saturday half-day shift approximately every 3–4 months
• Assignment duration: 91 days, starting June 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,511.20

Your Role

You will operate state-of-the-art Hologic mammography equipment across three available machines. Your responsibilities include performing both screening and diagnostic exams, utilizing contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) capabilities, and maintaining accurate patient records across multiple documentation systems: Penrad, Sectra (imaging), Ambry (high-risk breast program), and Expanse (registration and demographics).

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• ARRT certification in mammography (required)
• Current BCLS certification (required)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
