Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week with 8 and 10 hour shifts, or 36 hours with three 12-hour shifts, or 48 hours with four 12-hour shifts
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, CNMT or NMTCB, Indiana License
• Indiana state license and required certifications must be in hand before starting
• May float to other facilities based on need
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Free parking available
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Floating is 100% required and may include affiliate hospitals nearby
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, cardiac studies, MUGA scans, renal imaging, and various other nuclear medicine examinations
• Handle radioactive materials storage, handling, and disposal
• Start and maintain IVs as needed
• Two supervisor references required
