Job Details:

• Work PM shift with every other weekend requirement
• Holiday rotation required - must work one summer and one winter holiday
• Patient ratio of 1:6 across all shifts
• Must be willing to float to other units to cover staffing needs
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Work on 2 West Medical Innovation Unit - a 32-bed medical/surgical unit focused on new technologies and innovative nursing practice
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including pneumonia, renal failure, diabetes, COPD, sepsis, UTI, and wound care
• Skills required include IV management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, tracheostomy care, blood product administration, and central line management
• Staff assigned to groups for self-scheduling with rotating schedule periods
• Flu vaccination required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Zero-tolerance policy for THC - medical marijuana cards not accepted
• Fit testing required - must be clean-shaven or provide approved medical exemption
