Physical Therapist Job in Margate, FL

You will work as a Physical Therapist on a day shift basis at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, Florida. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Your Role

You will deliver direct patient care with a typical patient load of 10–13 patients per 8-hour shift. Your responsibilities include performing evaluations, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and therapeutic activities. You will work with equipment such as walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs to support patient mobility and recovery. All documentation will be entered into the Meditech system.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Physical Therapy license
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to the Meditech documentation system and departmental workflows
• Gray scrub color required
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred

Schedule & Compensation

You will work day shifts alongside all department staff. The assignment begins July 6, 2026, and runs for 91 days. Weekly pay is $2,044. You must be available to call in by 7:00 AM each workday.
