Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Savannah, GA

You'll work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center. This is a 91-day travel position running from May 11, 2026, paying $2,628 weekly.

Your Role

You'll work 4 ten-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) in a team-based environment with 3–4 person teams comprising 2 technicians and 2 RNs. You'll maintain a 1:1 patient ratio, providing specialized interventional care to high-acuity patients across 3 angiography labs: 2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
• Perform procedures including Permcath placement, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases
• Manage critical care drips and monitor high-acuity patients
• Document care using the EPIC Cupid system
• Support stroke and trauma care protocols

Required Qualifications

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Critical care and angiography/IR experience required
• ICU or ER experience for patient care
• Demonstrated critical care drip management skills
• Experience with stroke and trauma care
