Mammography Technologist Job in Boston, MA

Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our acute care imaging department in Boston, MA. This position offers a dynamic environment where you'll perform both screening and diagnostic mammography procedures across multiple campus locations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography screenings and diagnostics at designated campuses
• Work with bone density imaging and biopsy procedures
• Operate standardized mammography equipment across up to four different campuses
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EPIC charting system
• Provide patient education and positioning guidance during procedures

Schedule and Hours:

• Primary shifts: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Additional shifts available: 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
• Base 32 hours per week with the option to work up to 40 hours per week
• Overtime regularly available
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements:

• Minimum 200 mammography procedures completed in the last two years
• Experience with bone densities and biopsies required (biopsy experience highly preferred)
• Current Massachusetts mammography license
• BLS Certification
• Certified Mammography Technologist (ARRT M) certification
• Current continuing education units (CEUs)

Compensation:

Weekly pay of $3,310 for a 182-day assignment beginning October 5, 2026. This is a travel position offering the opportunity to develop experience across multiple acute care campuses while maintaining consistent schedule and location.
